So Forever Mine, book 3 in the Westin Pack releases TOMORROW!!!! I am so stinking excited.

Huge thanks to all of you who have pre-ordered it. I truly hope you love Liam and Maddie’s story as much as I do. (it’s my favorite so far!!!!)

Now, on to the less exciting news. Life sometimes gets in the way of plans. This past month has been rough for me and my family. I’m not trying to make any excuses, it truly just is what it is. I don’t mind sharing, and asking for much needed prayers. Last Christmas my mother-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. A large tumor of over 8.5cm consumed much of her right lung and the cancer had spread to her her lymph-nodes above and beside her lung. Her outcome was bleak. She was so tiny and frail by that point her oncologist had little hope she’d survive chemo. Not only did she survive both chemo and radiation simultaneously, but she did it with a smile and zero side effects until the final two high dose rounds caused her hair to fall out. A very mild and trivial side effect given the list of what could have beens. After that round she was found to be a candidate for immunotherapy and has been mostly thriving on it. Just before Thanksgiving after a few dizzy spells we took her to the ER and were told the cancer was in her brain. Four small spots were found and hit quickly with a round of gamma knife radiation. NOW, just this past week she took a severe turn for the worse. In the wee hours of Sunday morning after noticing her breathing becoming a struggle, I rushed her back to ER, where she remains inpatient battling pneumonia. Throughout all this, my blood pressure skyrocketed. I have a long family history of heart disease and guess it’s just my turn. It’s been a month now tweaking diet and meds, and adding more activity into my life…. which doesn’t bode well for my writing time! I’m happy to say that currently we have it stabilized at a decent level, no more headaches, and I’m personally feeling a million times better.

So what does any of that have to do with Forever Mine? Well, in the process of LIFE, I got behind. Plain and simple. So, the edition of Forever Mine releasing tomorrow has some typos that would normally have been caught by my proofreader and ARC team…. all of which are feverishly reading and noting. A newer version will be going out as soon as we have a solid update in place.

In the end I decided it would piss off a whole lot more people delaying release than a few typos, and that’s really what we’re talking about here. The storyline itself is solid, but please all you grammar police have a little patience with me. It WILL be corrected soon! I’ve been told it’s not even enough that the average person will notice, but I do have perfectionist tendencies and felt the need to apologize up front, even if you may not notice at all, I’m aware they are there, and I am sorry. I had a good timeline for release, with added weeks built in at every stage, but I didn’t account for LIFE! And despite a few typos, I’m still crazy excited to share this story and truly hope you all love it!
