It’s hard to believe 2022 is here.
A new year it always cathartic and cleansing for me. I know there really isn’t much difference from year to year, but ringing in the New Year for me represents a clean slate, a time to refocus, reflect on what I’ve done and make a plan for how to improve looking ahead.
2021 didn’t go exactly as I planned, but then again, does it ever?
Not for me it doesn’t!
All I can do it plan for the best and take the punches in stride as they come.
For instance, I didn’t know that I would have an unexpected summer free with my adult son. He wasn’t even supposed to be home for the summer, but things happen. His plans got derailed, and I leapt at the opportunity for one last epic adventure with him. So we loaded up the car and hit the road on a 9 state road trip making memories I will cherish for a lifetime.
I didn’t know my mother was going to get breast cancer. I purposefully stack a new year heaviest in the first quarter, consistent in the second, a few things in the third, and then by fourth quarter it’s generally very lowkey. This allows me to fall behind, because that does happen, take on fun passion projects I want to write, like Ravenden this year, and relax and enjoy the holidays and time with my family. I was grateful for it this year as I spent several weeks in November and December with my mama in New Orleans this year. And I’m thrilled to announce that post surgery she is officially CANCER FREE!!!

LIfe happens, the best laid plans derail, and yet the optimist in me still looks forward to New Years every single year.
So what am I aiming for this year?
A whole heck of a lot!
- 7 new PNR books all set in my Westin World.
- 2 new Armstrong Academy books to wrap up the series with Bethany.
- Branching out. New series coming, taking some things out of Kindle Unlimited and testing them in a wide market.
- At least 6 new audiobooks.
- A complete reboot and repackaging of Compounders along with the final book in the series.
2021 will see closure to some things as I wrap up Westin Force, Armstrong Academy, ARC Shifters, and Compounders.
BUT we’re also kicking off Six Pack Shifters with announcements of several new series coming in 2023!
It’s going to be an exciting year and I cannot wait to dive right in with the release of Waging War on January 27th!
Check out the Coming Soon page for dates and details.
Here’s peek at some of what’s to come.
