Two in one week! Just catching up here. This should have posted on Monday, but well, read Week 6 to find out why I’m behind if you don’t already know.
Kindred by Jana LaPelle is a Fantasy coming of age story. It’s book one in her Realms of the Otherworld series. This book has been out for a few years now, but if you’ve been paying attention, I am going to venturing into Epic Fantasy with a shared worlds project later this year, so dusting off my Fantasy books for re-reads and new reads in the genre.
Kindred focuses on Ashlinn, a girl of eighteen who was adopted at a young age. She doesn’t know where she came from, but weird things start happening to her, mostly in the form of dreams, where the sexy Alaric is the main feature. He’s her Guardian and about to change her entire world.
