2015 was a bit of a tough year for me. Saying goodbye to too many people taken from us too soon was hard. Work, the “real” job, changed and picked up in intensity this year, especially these last few months. Juggling the kids schedules as the 4 of them ran in 4 different directions was more stressful than usual this year, but there was a lot of good in 2015 too. Yes, the big one being the release of THE COMPOUNDERS! It’s been an exciting, nerve-wracking new adventure that I look forward to continuing into the new year.
I’ll be ringing in the New Year with just my handsome husband for the first time since we rang in 1999! I’m rather looking forward to that as my oldest 3 are big enough to ditch us now and the littlest is heading off to Gma’s.
In the meantime, to close out 2015 I’ve been doing a lot of reading. I have lost count but was at 28 books read this month last I checked. I do that when I’m procrastinating. This week I plan to get my head back on straight starting with a re-read and quick edit of The Compounders, Book 2. I still have a few chapters left to write to complete it. Stepping away from it for a few weeks is like reading it again for the first time, and I am loving it! Looking forward to sharing it with you all in the coming year as Holly’s story continues to unfold!
Hope you all had a great Christmas, and many blessings in the New Year!
